Overview

TradingEdge Journal and TradingEdge Mobile are designed with your privacy as the top priority. All of your trading data remains on your device, and we do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

This policy applies to both apps published by Bubbajuju LLC:

• TradingEdge Journal — available on the Mac App Store
• TradingEdge Mobile — available on the iOS App Store

Data Storage

All data you create in either app—including trades, journals, screenshots, playbook entries, and daily sessions—is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers or any third-party services.

• TradingEdge Journal (Mac): Data is stored on your Mac using local app storage.
• TradingEdge Mobile (iOS): Data is stored on your iPhone or iPad using local app storage.

AI Features

TradingEdge Journal (Mac) offers optional AI-powered analysis using Ollama, which runs entirely on your local machine. When you use AI features:

• All processing happens on your device
• No data is sent to external servers
• You maintain complete control over your AI models and data

The AI features are completely optional and require you to install and configure Ollama separately. TradingEdge Mobile does not include AI features.

Network Usage

TradingEdge Journal (Mac) only uses network access to communicate with your locally-running Ollama instance, if you choose to enable AI features. TradingEdge Mobile does not use network access. Neither app transmits data to external servers.

In-App Purchases

Purchase transactions for unlocking the full version of either app are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how your purchase data is handled.

Analytics and Tracking

We do not collect any analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, or personal information. We do not use any third-party tracking or advertising services.

Data Security

Since all your data remains on your device:

• You are responsible for backing up your data
• Mac users: we recommend using Time Machine or other backup solutions
• iOS users: iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder backups will preserve your app data
• Your data security depends on your device's security settings

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
